Job duties:

In need of some sort of income I was self employed as a baker. I spent 15-20 hours baking per week. Doing all my baking at home,I started baking cakes, decorating cakes and making popcorn squares. I took them out to local communities in the area for sale. I took orders from different people and delivered great service to my customers. I used my own recipe for mixing my own cake ingredients, popping the popcorn kernels, making the syrup at the right temperature and adding in the popcorn. I make sure the temperature is at the correct setting, and I watch and time the baked goods so it does not burn. I wrap the popcorn squares individually for individual sale. I usually set up my booth and put up my signs for the prices of the baked goods. I greeted all my customers and interacted with them and started a conversation. My customers kept coming back because I have good people skills and plus they loved my baked goods. With this job, I learned how to use the oven and used all different temperatures on the oven, along with sanitizing my work area.
