Summary: Aloha! My name is Nanucha but I prefer being called Nanu. My pronouns are she/her/they/them, I am 20 years old and a person who loves to try new things!
It mostly started when I was young, being an international traveler. I’ve got to see lots of the world and the beauty of cultures and varieties. I've loved my two passions, music, and dance, ever since I can remember. I found my passion for dance ever since my dad would play his old songs on the radio including Prince, Stevie Wonder, you name it! I did Ballet for 6 years then Hip Hop, Modern to Contemporary, Jazz, West African, K-pop dances, Traditional Indian, Tap, and more! I’ve also done voice lessons, classic guitar class, songwriting class, and music theory, for my love of singing! My passions and love for knowledge have taken me a long way with achievements, awards, and accomplishments. For example; Firstly winning my middle school talent show at just 12 years old! I self-choreographed a dance that left the audience in with their breaths taken away. Another is being the mascot of my high school senior year in my leadership class! I participated in more than 20 events, such as football games to The Special Olympics. I increased school spirit throughout the school and was honored by my leadership teacher as the best mascot in Santa Rosa High School history!
The main thing that made me unique about being mascot was making my own choreography mini dance routines to perform at rallies and dance with the kids at football games(I felt like Mickey Mouse).
scholarships, Principal Honor Rolls, and Student Of The Year. Other honorable mentions are getting a scholarship to a music camp for kid musicians from around the world only in middle school! Being the first non-binary to win a senior pageantry/ talent show by dancing to a self-choreographed routine to 'Holding Out For A Hero' By Bonnie Tyler.
In college I also studied in songwriting class which gave me the opportunity to perform a song of mine live that I fully produced and wrote for an audience! And practicing my vocals at home and karaoke nights.
Performing/Dancing/Singing/Music has taken me so far. I am pursuing to be a singer/performer and songwriter and working hard on my passion for music to pursue my dreams!
I love to try new opportunities to learn and expand my knowledge in new experiences! Call me adventurous! Taking on new challenges and positive experiences is an awesome way of living life in my book! I want to know that I can accomplish my dreams and also HAVE FUN! I love to bring a positive spirit as others call me very bubbly and bright! I love to bring kindness, smiles, peace, and joy. I also spend a lot of time creative thinking and finding solutions to problems as a very well known skill of mine is patience. I do love to socialize with others as I am an extrovert who loves to make people smile and work with others as a team.
