Responsible for the Maintenance and Integrity of all static facilities within current and future development stations, Assigned for Thermal Plant (Qarn Alam Steam) and currently support Yibal Khuff Complex.

Provide technical support for operating facilities, projects, and new technology implementation for piping and Static Equipment and Provide piping, static equipment and pipelines day-to-day technical support to Operations and Maintenance teams.

Prepare and participate on major Turnarounds, field troubleshooting and emergency plant shutdowns.

Responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating mechanical components, systems to ensure compliance with PDO & industry standards.

Develop, assess and ensure implementation of assurance activities and care plans related to piping, static equipment and pipelines.

Define inspection scope of work, plan for execution and monitor the contractor inspectors’ performance in delivering inspection scope.

As Static Technical Authority TA3, I Provide engineering support to repair hydrocarbon leaks, review the bolted clamp calculations and design provided by vendor/companies to maintenance prior to field installation.

Perform external Inspections for in-service equipment such as Shell and Tube Exchangers, Drums, Columns, Piping and Tanks.

Perform internal Inspections for Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, and Exchangers during Turnarounds.

Monitor/Review NDT results to determine defects and issue recommendations for repair or replacement as required.

Follow up Visual inspection and repair of non-metallic piping and pressure vessels (GRE, GRVE, PE, PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, etc…)

Perform piping mechanical calculations, such as minimum wall thickness for internal and external pressure, MAWP calculations as per ASME B31.3, hydrotest pressure, rating and/or de-rating of piping circuits by following API 570. Perform fitness for service level 1 using API 579 to evaluate flaws.

Perform pressure vessel calculations like minimum wall thickness for internal and external pressure, nozzle reinforcement calculations, MAWP calculations, by following API 510, NBIC-23, ASME Code VIII Div 1 and/or 2 when applicable, perform flange calculations as per ASME VIII Div 1 and perform nozzle calculations.

Provide support to all Tanks by performing calculations as per API 650 and reviewing procedures as per API 653 for storage tanks repair and maintenance.

Participate on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Equipment Improvement Analysis (EIA), & Preventive maintenance optimization (PMO) activities on all static related facilities.

As Static Technical Authority TA3, Participate in “Hazard Effect management process” HEMP tools/workshops such as HAZID Hazard identification, HAZOP Studies review, and Design review.

Reviews and provides technical input for Field Change Proposals (FCP) or Management of change (MOC) in consultation with Technical Authorities.

Regularly review maintenance data quality in CMMS program SAP and drive improvements.
