Career Summary:

I am a highly motivated person with over 40 years in the construction field. I graduated from the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program. I have worked with reputable construction companies through out the Silicon Valley, doing different facets of construction ranging from large concrete projects to clean room projects. I was a lead person in a multi-million dollar remodels and new construction projects. I had a large crew of construction personnel working with me.

I was a superintendent for large construction companies through out the Bay Area. My responsibilities as a superintendent includes project scheduling, procuring materials for each project, coordinating with sub contractors and documentation of the projects that I was in charge of. I was in contact with the end user of the project and to ensure the project was done on time and to his / her satisfaction. I have 25 years of experience as a construction superintendent / manager for other companies as well as my own company.

I am bilingual: I am fluent in Spanish and can communicate effectively. I am capable of managing and communicating with different professional trades and also with all levels of management.

1979 thru 1989

Apprentice Carpenter / Carpenter

I graduated from a 4 year apprenticeship program and while attending the apprenticeship program I was working in the field with Carl N Swenson Construction. During my apprenticeship I was designing concrete forms and placing concrete forms. I graduated the apprenticeship in 1984. Continued working for Carl N Swenson Construction as a carpenter performing various task such as building lay-out, building forms, wood framing construction and finish work.

I was employed by Innovative Project Solutions from January of 2019 till August of 2023. I worked at various government projects such as Berkeley National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. I was learning the variety of methods per their strict procedures. I also contributed at Washington Hospital Cardiac Center. This project was a medical center and did not require OSHPOD, but we had an OSHPOD inspector on site as per Washington Hospital requirements. I also worked on a couple of small projects for different doctors that were associated with Washington Hospital.

I was employed with MWH Constructors. I was employed in January of 2019 till present. I am presently working at Intel Mission Campus and the San Jose sites. I have performed various duties from working on some of Intel’s various labs. Supervised HVAC projects, removing and installing Server components, extensive roofing repairs and installing boilers with strict criteria. I have a vast knowledge of clean rooms, from Class 1000 to 100,000 clean rooms. I also participated working on mission critical lab, data centers, offices, executive conference rooms and kitchen remodels.

I worked at E-Bay doing various projects ranging from building two courtyards at an estimated $750,000 each to small remodels. Worked on RAMBLC Pediatrics complete remodel, the cost on that project cost 1.8 Million dollars and various projects.

600,000 sq ft Tenant Improvement in Union City, 2500 sq ft Ground Up restaurant facility and upgrading the appearance of the existing stores at the Sunnyvale Shopping Center and other tenant improvements.

W.L. Butler Construction – Red wood City, Ca.

Citi Bank Remodel while the bank was in full operation 2700 sq. ft. Creating a schedule, coordinating for all subcontractors, conducting the safety meetings and providing all the proper documentation.

2014 - 2016

Air base and the distillery is in Hangar 22. We created a demising wall that was 45 feet Hangar 1 Vodka Distillery project 1.4 million. The distillery is in the Old Alameda naval tall and a 175 feet long and constructed an H-3 area for the new distillery. I was a superintendent for other smaller projects ranging from $500,000 to $89,000 projects. The client at Hangar 1 had Doyle Construction come back and build the Visitor Center for their new Tasting Rooms, Which included installing an elevator and building (2) custom bars. The cost of that project cost 1.9 million dollars.

I worked at Stanford University, Wilbur Hall Renovation. I was responsible for 14 men and a few contractors. Our scope of work was to renovate the kitchen, main office as a design build which constitutes the layout of the kitchen equipment and all utilities. Worked on the exterior placing trellises.

Paint and placed flooring throughout the (4) dormitories containing (125) rooms in a matter of (3) months.
