General Manager M/S VC TEC (July-2021 to current)

In my current role as General Manager at M/S VC TEC, I have successfully managed company-wide budgets, payroll, accounting functions, and investments, consistently achieving financial objectives. BDM in DFTL (Islamic Insurance) Dec-2019 to June 2021 During my tenure as a Business Development Manager at DFTL, I was responsible for recruiting and selecting Takaful Managers and BDOs, conducting trainings, generating new sales leads, and negotiating client pricing and forecasting sales revenue.

My functional responsibilities as a Branch Manager (March 2009 to 2019)

As a Branch Manager, my functional responsibilities included overseeing overall branch operations, staff training, compliance with internal bank policies and procedures, and international monitoring policies related to AML/CFT/FATCA/KYCs. I also ensured sufficient cash availability in the branch and supervised credit and loan approval processes. Additionally, I played a key role in promoting the branch to potential customers, opening new accounts, and managing customer relationships by addressing their queries and issues, educating them about banking products, and building a trustworthy community. Furthermore, I developed and implemented strategies to achieve the branch's targets on various key performance indicators such as increasing the number of accounts, deposits, advances, and branch profit.

My Functional Responsibilities as a Fund Manager (Aug 2006 to March 2009)

During my time as a Fund Manager, I held various functional responsibilities. These included overseeing the financial operations of the Provident Fund, such as managing accounting tasks, processing loan requests for staff members based on their balances in SPF and specific needs, and handling settlements for retiring employees. Additionally, I ensured compliance with relevant regulations, conducted financial analysis, compiled Management Information System (MIS) reports for Trustees, prepared Trial balance, and conducted extensive research on the most lucrative investment opportunities available.
