Created an entire architectural department for an internationally acclaimed design office. This included selecting and hiring staff, setting up office functions and standards, and overseeing day to day operations while managing and designing from 3-8 projects at a time. These projects ranged in budget from $1 - $15 Million and were built in New York's 5th and Park Avenues, Southampton, East Hampton, & Shelter Island NY., Greenwich CT., and Palm Beach FL.. Developed project budgets and schedules and coordinated these timelines with interior phases and installations. Selected contractors, subcontractors and builders and managed the selection and bidding process. Conducted construction site meetings and site reviews with contractors, engineers, craftsmen and artists. Obtained approvals from city as well as building managers and companies. Managed teams of architects, draftsmen and designers for maximum efficiencies for budgets and deadlines. Produced presentation drawings, sketches and models for owner review and approvals. Managed flow of requests for information and approvals between owner, consultants, and contractor.
