Planned, directed, coordinated and recruited manpower to efficiently meet facility production requirements to meet client demand on a timely basis through effective associate training/development while delivering uncompromised quality in the safest and lowest cost possible.
Managed manufacturing staff comprised of 7 Supervisors for a 2-shift operation encompassing 7 departments including Fabrication, Glass, Glazing, Specials, and Shipping, with an hourly work crew of 300+ associates through continued improvement efforts that met and exceeded departmental and corporate objectives.
Coached and trained the departmental leaders and hourly workforce in Lean Manufacturing activities in order to deliver world class service to our clients.
HPU (Labor Hour Per Units Produced) was lowered from .12 to better than .08 in one year by cross-training efforts and focus on best practices including the development of hourly checklists.
Cost Mitigation: Exceeded objective of keeping Conversion Cost below 35% in 2023. Led effort to streamline processes and increase equipment utilization which has resulted in OT savings of over $30,000 through March of 2024.
Implemented innovative safety program (SafeStart) that, through extensive training, has resulted in a record of no Lost Time Accidents in 640 days (1.75 years).

Maintained effective production schedules and worked closely with Maintenance Department to strengthen our Preventive Maintenance program and with Quality Department to ensure adherence to strict building codes and WI’s.

Managed a 6 day, 3-Shift bakery operation with a staff of 6 Production Supervisors, one Production Scheduler, and two Process SME’s as direct reports.
