Pull patients back for there CT or MRI exam. Get patients history and make sure they know what type of scan they are having done and if they have had the contrast before or if they are over age of 60 or diabetic so I know if I need to start a iv to check there creat level before we start there exam. Make sure each patient is screened and changed into proper scrubs for exam. I complete chart and give it to tech to check over order for exam and history. I set up CT and MRI bed for each exam and escort the patient to the room and get them lined up perfect for scan. If they are a contrast exam that needs power injector I have already set that up before patient arrives. I always make sure I have a patient pulled back while a patient is having there scan. We work at a very fast pace so each day is very busy. I love my job and make sure the patient is happy as well as my MRI or CT tech. After each day is finished scanning patients, I break the beds down and clean coils and restock for next day. I also push all images and chart for the radiologist and all stats are taken care of. All charts are scanned between each patient to stay caught up threw out the day.
