Maintenance Mechanic

Troubleshoot and analyze broken or faulted machine status to prevent downed company time.

Plan a strategy with a team of fellow mechanics to fix any issues that may occur as soon as possible. Mostly we mechanics work alone throughout the day as per work order unless a major emergency was to arise. I worked on all machines from the lead pot caster ovens to the floor mopping machine. Performed routine maintenance on all machines on site. Repaired and rebuilt various motors, engines, and electrical components that utilizes pneumatic, hydraulic, and hydro power pumps and starters. Welding several types of metals according to specs of each machine using TIG, MIG, or STICK ARC welding processes. Fabricated various parts necessary for smooth running applications using different types of metals, woods, and plastics. Repaired pneumatic issues throughout the facility.
