As SRS Engineering departments technology manager I was tasked at improving the efficiency of our software development life cycle. As a Confluence and Jira SME I choose it and acquired all the hardware needed to support a LAMP environment. I also worked with our IT department in getting and configuring a dedicated Dell Rack hosting 5VM’s. I configured Confluence as a wiki, searchable knowledge base, blog and bulletin board. Jira I developed and streamlined workflows for project management, collecting requirements, tracking status of projects, bugs, enhancements etc. I ported the Bugzilla data over to Jira I successfully moved the Engineering department from VSS to GitHub and developed training and best practices documentation. Also integrated SalesForce with Confluence and Jira. I also became the Salesforce admin creating new custom objects, workflow for our sales department and Apex based triggers. Scripted crons in bash/Perl for various backup and redundancies.

Developed and maintained scripts and make files to support the configuration and release management for wireless test systems. Enhanced Agilent’s 84000 software upgrade process that allowed customers to maintain and customize their environments. Designed process for the successful configuration and transfer of software for Agilent’s 84000 manufacturing out-source to Singapore. Automated the transfer of new 84000 software from the lab to Singapore resulting in cost saving to Agilent. Created and taught internal training for ClearCase and other software development tools.
