1997 – 2018. Full-time Mom – Nashville, TN
Position: I stopped working for a salary to stay home with my three (3) children, whom all have varying degrees of ADD/ADHD. I have been extremely involved in securing the proper diagnoses, environments, schooling and tutoring needed throughout the last 15 years, as well as volunteering my expertise and time at their schools.
Duties: Included, but not limited to serving on school auxiliary boards, chairing and co-chairing 2 separate school auctions, for a total of 5 years, creating databases, mail merges and desktop publishing, as well as soliciting donors. I spear-headed the online auction process and computer auction application for donations for use with spreadsheets, as well as cataloging for the event. I have also chaired other fundraisers, as well.
2018 – 2022 Owner of Prospect Place Bed & Breakfast, Hot Springs, AR
Position:I purchased the bed and breakfast in June of 2018. I am owner and innkeeper.
Duties: Included, but not limited to, caring for guests and their needs, which includes preparing and serving breakfast. I keep the 5100 sq. Ft., 6 bedroom/6 bath, 142 year-old home clean, organize, linens laundered, spaces neatly appointed. I also take care of the exterior of the property.
2024 – CURRENT ELDERLY COMPANION, Benton, AR
POSITION: This is a full-time position caring for an elderly woman with dementia and spinal stenosis. This care takes place in her home, and my being here has provided her and her family with peace of mind, and the ability to keep her in her in the comfort and familiarity of her home instead of having to reside in a care facility.
