I worked on the Ship dock as a Forklift Unloader and Yard Spotter at Capstone Logistics. My responsibilities as a Unloader were to unload the product off the trucks onto a pallet. Then I would store it into the warehouse by the products name on the label and date using hand held scanner. As a yard spotter my responsibilities are to check my trailer inventory sheet for the night. I checked to see which trailers I have to finish for the day, I then go outside and do a yard walk to see if the trailers are out there. I check to see if any trailers are damaged. After that I would get into the trucks and attach to each one of the trailers and then back the trailers up to the dock so we can unload them. After that process, when we were finished unloading the trailers I would park them back in the yard.
