• Developed, maintained, and reported on all aspect of project welding: mapping subcontractor inspections, positive material identification of all alloy materials, weld logs, as well as individual welder performance.

• Evaluate components and final products against quality standards and manufacturing specifications to recommend and approve repairs as well as perform visual inspection of completed work.

• Extensive knowledge of industry standards including American Welding Society

(AWS) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) 2

• Work with various grades of stainless steel, inconel, copper, aluminum (6061 and 2219).

• Record and organize test data for report generation to complete documentation for welding procedures and welder qualification with extensive knowledge to ASME IX and AWS D17.1

• Observe techniques and performance of welders in shop.

• Remain up-to-date with new engineering specifications to maintain access to adequate inventory of all equipment

• Knowledge in occupational hazards and effective safety precautions of the trade

• Adhered to safety and clean area procedures to comply with agency and regulatory mandates.

• Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.

• Knowledge of quality assurance activities including audits recommending and implementing corrective actions providing accurate documentation of statistical reports and ensuring overall compliance.
