Senior Metal Bellows (SMB)

Role Overview:

Development and implementation of a program management function for the execution of New Product Introduction projects across a diverse range of industries including civil and military aerospace, incorporating CDRLs relating to various military standards such as MIL-STD-810 (Environmental Testing), MIL-STD 167 (Shipboard Vibration), MIL-DTL-901 (High Impact Shock). I also facilitated the Preliminary (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) process, and similar customer required program meetings. Delivered products primarily contain temperature or pressure compensating (or operated) bellows manufactured from metallic materials as thin as a few thousandths of an inch, which are designed to monitor or control fluid flow in gas turbine fuels systems, aircraft flight controls, and oil and gas industry well management systems, or actuation of semi-conductor manufacturing equipment.

Key Contributions:

Acted as the primary point of contact for the Business Innovation Platform implementation and integration, developing and refining new and existing business processes.

Development and implementation of project management processes for use by Account Managers and Project Engineers.

Role Overview:

Development and restructuring a Program Management organization for the management of contracts with the US DOD (Navy), including the transition of P&L ownership from General Management organization to Program Management with project budgets of $10m to $15m+. The product line is a new technology system for the protection of ship and submarines from magnetic threats
