Summary :

Over 40 years of machine shop experience on a variety of machines, over 50 different CNC lathes and machining centers, and over 15 different manual lathes and mills. I have experience on all the major controls such as Mazatrols (lathes and mills) ; Fanuc 11M, 6M, 0M-TA, 10TA, 5T, 6T,16i,18i and 21T / mi; General Electric 550 and 1050; Allen-Bradley 7360; General Numeric 6MB and 3TF; and a few others.

I started out machining oil field tubing and casing threads. I later moved into flow-control type parts. I’ve machined with tolerances with-in a few tenth’s, on all types of materials including a lot of exotics. I’ve held the positions of Supervisor, Programmer, Lead man, Set-up Technician, Machinist and Q.C. Manager and Inspector. I have experience in trouble shooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

I also have experience in sheet metal as a programmer and operator; I know bending allowances and die clearances.

I make all my own edits and inspect my own parts. I have experience on a variety of personal computers with all types of software and editors, including AUTOPRO, EDGECAM, APT and some MASTERCAM. I’ve been designing and programming application software and all types of machine tool software including robotics for over 31 years.

For the last two years I’ve been programming / running a Zeiss CMM in the Quality Control department. I have extensive knowledge on API connections and many types of downhole tools.
