PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
May 2023 – June 2023: Child Family Health International, Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana (Independent Reviewer – Practicum Experience)
• I reviewed the International Community Access to Child Health (ICATCH) Project, a program funded by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Child Family Health International. Created a detailed report about the project via: o An extensive literature review on the topic of disability in Ghana and in similar low-middle-income countries.
o Synthesis of an interview template and consequent in-depth interviews of program staff.
o Creating, reviewing, and interpreting analytic graphs using Microsoft Excel. o Extensive discussion with recommendations for better outcomes in similar future projects.
o A PowerPoint presentation with voice-over recording was also created to be shared with future partners and the Ghana Health Services. June 2022 – May 2024: The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health, Houston, Texas, USA (Graduate Assistant – Texas Epidemic Public Health Institute).
• I prepared Biweekly newsletters using information on the latest news about infectious diseases worldwide.
• Created special issue newsletters on specific topics like Long COVID. Jan. 2022 – May 2022: The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health, Houston, Texas, USA (Graduate Research Assistant Lead for Community Health Workers in the PRC Covid- 19 intervention).
• As the team lead, I conducted bi-weekly meetings with community health workers and translated obtained insights to the creation of culturally appropriate intervention materials which my team used to create greater buy-in driving greater uptake of COVID vaccine and booster shots amongst minority populations living in Houston. 2
• I helped co-create a codebook for the thematic analysis of research subject interviews regarding vaccine knowledge and compliance behavior.
• I co-created social media content for community engagement and vaccine information purposes. These posts helped demystify vaccine misinformation and served as a resource for information on nearby vaccination sites, COVID self-testing, as well as other useful resources.

• I was extensively involved in its management, the care of patients, assisting in surgical procedures, running some lab tests and other duties critical for patient care.

PROJECTS
Manuscript Writing (December 2022 – Date)
• Utilized STATA for the analysis of large data sets (BRFSS-2022) and used Microsoft Excel for data visualization for peer-reviewed scientific publications. Conceptualized research topic, aims, and objectives. Drafted methods and result sections of manuscript.
• Conducted extensive Literature review, drafted the abstract and discussion sections of manuscript, reviewed entire manuscript including tables and reference list several times after initial completion. Searched for possible Publication Journals and responded to editorial review queries.
Machine-Learning Model (April 2024)
• Created a radial support vector machine predictive model using R-programming (10- fold cross-validation, AUC-ROC, confusion matrix, etc), for the prediction of Parkinson’s disease using structured voice recording data. Academic Thesis (April 2024)
• Conducted weighting on large survey data set with subsequent analysis and visualization of results (bar charts and pie-charts) using SAS then STATA and Microsoft Excel for my 5

Affordable Housing Project (September 2023)
• Co-created a story map on ArcGIS for Agape (non-profit) highlighting the city of Houston, the target community’s yearly household income vs household income of wealthier super-neighborhoods, the organizations current properties and cost comparison between their subsidized housing units and those of property in neighboring super- neighborhoods.
Guest Presenter and Panelist (November 2023)
• Created and delivered a PowerPoint presentation on my international research experience in Ghana (CFHI) as part of a global health seminar lecture and later, as a panelist. Peer-Reviewed Article Searching Module (March 2023)
• Utilized Python (biopython, pandas, SQLite3, plotly Express and plotly graph objects libraries) in the creation of scraper, database and visualization modules capable of searching PubMed for a specific article topic (HIV in this case), creating an SQLite database and reading a CSV file containing extracted data into the database, visualizing the data and creating a dashboard with all resulting graphs (boxplot, bar chart and line plot) showcasing the trend of number of publications per month within a predetermined time frame.
