08/2015 to 09/2019 Jordan Industrial Ports Company (JIPC)

• Establishing JIPC for handling Dry and Liquid Bulk exports and imports through the industrial ports in Aqaba – Jordan.

• Leading a team of 5 managers and 130 employees.

• Responsibilities included planning, directing, managing and controlling of resources.

• Overseeing and supervising procurement, bids and tenders evaluations locally and internationally.

• Managing a rehabilitation and extension of the industrial ports as a Project Director, responsibilities included:

Managing the project contracts with the government authorities, the contractor, and the supervising entity.

Overseeing procurement and approving suppliers and countries of supply. Liaising and coordinating project activities with the government authorities since it’s a public – private partnership project.
