Project experience

Certified Radiographic Interpreter, Senior Oversight Inspector.

Roles and responsibilities include surveillance and monitoring of in-process and completed radiographic work and reporting. Verification that NDE inspections were performed within applicable codes and customers’ specifications.

BES Engineering, Keene, North Dakota

HESS Corporation, Bakken Project.

Mechanical QA Supervisor. Responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Contractor’s quality control program to assure that all phases of the Contractor’s work are inspected, recorded, and in compliance with the applicable regulatory codes, standards, and Owner specifications. Review the project SOW, IFC drawings, Contractor’s QC site specific inspection plan & NDE procedures, project specifications, applicable regulatory codes, and project information as it relates to quality assurance and quality control.

Alaska Petroleum Contractors, Anchorage, Alaska. Mechanical/Certified Welding Inspector. Performed visual / mechanical inspection for structural welding, pipe welding, pressure testing, welder / procedure qualification. Scheduled NDE, reviewed radiographs, monitored post-weld heat-treating. All areas of documentation from weld mapping to as-builts to Department of Transportation compliance.

Valley Industrial X-Ray & Inspection, Bakersfield, California

Special Inspector, Field Supervisor, Mechanical/Certified Welding Inspector.QA project oversight. Responsible for film review & crew audits, welder / procedure qualifications, approved drawing, code and specification compliance, material identification, monitoring contractor QC programs, inspection for embed installation, fire-stop installation, compliance with high strength bolting requirements, system walk downs, and hydro-testing. Project support & other inspections as needed.
