(This position is equivalent to an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.) Serves as a senior nurse executive responsible for the daily nursing operations of a 43 bed medical facility serving a beneficiary population of 52,000 military members, family members, and retirees. Directly responsible for the provision of clinical care on an Intermediate Care Ward and an Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. Also responsible for the provision of all aspects of staff education via the actions and supervision of the Hospital Education and Staff Development (HESD) unit. Works with the Deputy Commander of Nursing (DCN) to develop nursing policies and support of the command vision of care.
