RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

OBJECTIVE

●To be able to work in a reputable institution where I can maximize potentials in rendering health services and continue to practice my talents and skills in health promotion, disease prevention, treatment and rehabilitation by rendering quality respiratory care.

●Educating others about the management of mechanical ventilation management (initiating machine ventilation, caring of patients receiving mechanical ventilation (weaning patients from it) and troubleshooting and dealing with mechanical ventilators.

●I have the abilities to improve the knowledge of the fundamentals of cardiopulmonary physiology and pathology that helps to diagnose, and treat patients, as well as educate others in the medical field

●Educate others about the general procedures used in respiratory therapy department to manage and evaluate patients that have cardiopulmonary diseases.

●Continue as an independent professional respiratory therapist, by demonstrating and upgrading my job skills and keeping pace with the changing health field with continuing Education.

●Improve and increase the knowledge skills of the respiratory therapy equipment operation that are designed to deliver medical gas therapy (humidification therapy, aerosol therapies, hyperinflation therapy, mechanical ventilator support) and other respiratory therapy equipment, and diagnostic tests to evaluate respiratory function and tests that improve gas exchange.
