LEAF COLLECTION: Perform manual labor as a member of a crew collecting leaves and yard waste from residential areas. Work within close proximity of trucks using rakes, blowers and truck vacuums to collect leaves. This work is generally performed outdoors and in all types of weather conditions and often near moving traffic. The work environment includes exposure to draft, noise, dust, grease, bugs and dirt with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting light-to-heavy objects and equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
SNOW REMOVAL TECHNICIAN: Work close within a crew in the de-icing and removal of snow from highways, main streets, side streets and bridges. Proficiently and safely use snow removal equipment such as shovels, plows, snow blowers and other power and manually operated tools and equipment used to perform snow removal. Safely and appropriately distribute de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt. Perform highly physical work outdoors on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy and snowy weather. Maintain cold weather gear and wear it appropriately to protect against cold weather conditions.

Construct and move pallet via electric pallet jack until order is complete, wrap the pallet with plastic wrap until secure and load the pallets into the trailer; Select orders with fluctuating temperatures, dry, cooler, and freezer; Work at a steady and fast pace, correctly identifying and counting items while visually inspecting products for damage or improper packaging; Stack products on pallets following proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, specialized pallets, etc.); Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, and personal protective equipment; Always follow preferred work methods, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions; Adhere to sanitation requirements to comply with the policy set forth by the Dreyers; Attend all required meetings and participate in special projects.

Study work orders to understand the quantity and type of ice cream to be manufactured each day; Ensure that sufficient ingredients are available at the time of production; Liaise with procurement managers or vendors to acquire ice cream mixes and other ingredients; start ice cream manufacturing equipment and check it for optimal functioning; mix ingredients such as ice, sherbets, and custards in correct quantities to ensure that they conform to set recipes; pour all mixed ingredients into manufacturing machines after setting the correct temperature and time; ensure that the process for ice cream manufacturing is run smoothly by constantly monitoring the machinery; remove ice cream from the machine by following strict removal procedures and ensure that it is placed in appropriate containers; ascertain that the taste and texture of each batch are in accordance with the standards set; store frozen ice cream in appropriate containers, in designated refrigeration areas; Handle inventory of supplies and ensure that appropriate maintenance is performed on utensils and ice cream making machinery.
