I hereby humbly submit my application for the position of Storekeeper a line of work which I did with Abt Associates -PMI Vector Link Project in Uganda from the year 2020 to July, 2023 as store Manager.

Before joining Abt Associates. Inc, I had worked for Lutheran world federation in the position of warehouse officer for a period of three years from 2018-2020. I also worked for Medecin Sans Frontieres Holland as central storekeeper, Mildmay Uganda as medical store officer and Joint medical store as warehouse assistant between 2004-2017. I studied bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kampala International University In addition, I do possess certifications from Uganda Management Institute, Certificate in fleet management and project planning and management. I am also happy to note that I am a member of two different professional bodies: Chartered institute of purchasing and supply management (CIPS UK) and Chartered institute of transport and Logistics management (CILT). I also noticed that you require someone who has progressive experience in stock Management of which I have worked in this position for a period of 13 years and I managed different warehouse staffs.

MAJOR KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AT ORGANISATIONS WORKED FOR:

Created and monitored Asset register on timely basis.

At Joint Medical Store received sales order and processed online invoice using integrated financial system ( IFS).

At joint medical store I Reconciled stock on daily basis using stock management software and physically counting.

At USAID-Vector link project, Mildmay Uganda, Lutheran world federation I coordinated with suppliers and procurement department on delivered consignments and ensured all invoices are submitted to finance for payment.

Prepared gate pass permission for all items leaving store going to field offices. This has help security to trace items movement out of store or warehouse.

Prepared Delivery notes for items delivered to field and ensured that original signed copy is sent back to warehouse as evident that these items were received in the field.
