I worked to enhance student performance, improve self esteem through positive reinforcement, and improve self discipline through the use of the Boys Town Social Skills curriculum and by providing a safe and supportive environment that encouraged positive relationships.I taught all academic subjects with Social Skills being a priority. My classroom was highly structured and organized to lessen student anxiety. They always knew what the plan was and what the expectations were. My students often said that I expected more from them in AEP than their regular teachers did. They also believed it was because I cared about them and knew that they were capable. MY ENDORCEMENT IS IN READING 1-8. I REALLY WANT TO GET CERTIFIED IN GIFTED AND TALENTED. I DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE ANY MORE DIFFICULT THAN SPECIAL EDUCATION. JUST BUY THE BOOK AND STUDY. I PLAN ON DOING GT AND HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH ASAP! THANK YOU
