Attained notable contributions to the saving of company costs through effective management of preventive and breakdown maintenance and improving equipment performance, in turn reducing costs on spares procurement through improved service life of equipment and reliability. Having attained very Good knowledge and experience in the maintenance of the sulphuric acid plants mechanical equipment; Gas cleaning and contact plants and storage facilities and dispatch facilities and the associated safety thereof.

Appreciable knowledge of the process (Operational aspects) running of the sulphuric acid plants and care and maintenance thereof with the associated environmental impacts Successful implementation of smelter major shutdowns 2018-2019 and 2022-2023. Innovative interventions on various maintenance breakdown fronts, in turn reducing Production downtimes and improving plant availability through effective re-engineering, containment measures, counter measures and improvements in the previous sections put under my charge. Exposed to a wide spectra of engineering paraphernalia, hands on experience and supervisory in the maintenance of production plants, quality control and shutdown projects implementation, supervising and planning.

Preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical drives, structures, material transport systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including maintenance of various types of Compressors, mechanical filter press units, slurry pumps, Agitators, chemical pumps, water pumps, blowers and fans, converter furnace drives, boiler Pumps, belt conveyor systems, pneumatic conveyor systems, screw conveyors, crushers, Vibratory screens, overhead cranes, grab cranes and Plate heat exchangers, anodic coolers/ tube & shell heat exchangers, wet and dry Electrostatic precipitators, Hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, open and closed cooling systems, Preheaters, water, fuel and acid pipe structural systems, maintenance of electric and waste heat boilers, corrosion Protection maintenance of steel structures, acid proofing and effective supervision with a measurable KPI/KPA of MTBF and MTTR, FMEA, RCFAs, EXCEED Planning, Last Planners, SMEDs, MDW, Safety compliance, Cost saving, effective communication, team building, Good housekeeping, plant availability of minimum 96%, daily preventive maintenance compliance, good spares management and conversant with the use of maintenance tools including 6Ms, 5S.
