Duties are to call and pre-register patients for upcoming imaging appointments or surgeries, collecting deductibles, and co-pays/coinsurance whenever possible. I was the top collector in my department during 2018. Also, I was the new hire trainer for the surgery and imaging pre-registration department. I created and compiled the training manual which I use in that position as trainer. The software we used was EPIC. I also, research eligibility and benefits whenever time permits helping that department when they are backed up. I was responsible for keeping track of supply inventory and compiling the supply order to submit for ordering to supervisor when needed.

I have been a docket secretary for the Volusia County Florida State Attorney’s Office, a case secretary for the Florida Vocational Rehabilitation office of Orange County, as well as worked in various retail positions and as a file clerk for the Federal Government.
