Mechanical Designer with over 30 years’ experience in the development and design in the automotive and aircraft industries. Proficient in the design of castings, fixtures, engines, tooling, and aircraft structure and systems. Remodeling Gulfstream G-550 airplane for use for overseas government use.

Engine retrofit of Williams FJ144-4A on a Cessna 500 using Solidworks cad system with

new electrical wiring and control system boxes.

Worked on the Electronic Drive for the propulsion system for the Ohio Class Nuclear submarines.

12/14– 12/15 Design Engineer ALCI Aerospace (Everett, WA) Design and build new lavatories for the Boeing 737 Max aircraft including assembly incorporation into body of the aircraft.

4/96 - 9/96 Unigraphics Designer McDonnell Douglas (St. Louis, Mo) Designed ground support equipment for the F-18 E/F aircraft which included sling devices, gernie carts, and engine adapters.

6/95 - 3/96 Unigraphics Designer GM Truck & Bus Division (Pontiac, MI) Designed 3D truck components including transmission, clutches, and brakes.

6/94 - 4/95 Tool Designer McDonnell Douglas (St. Louis, Mo) Designed tooling and built parts on the C-17, MD-80 & MD-11 transport and passenger planes.

8/91 - 6/94 Pattern Designer Caterpillar Tractor Company (Peoria, IL)

Lead designer for all tooling and pattern equipment on the 3100 Engine Series (heads and blocks). Design area began using Capt soft-ware until converting to Unigraphics II, Version 9 in Feb. 1992.

2/81 – 8/91 Pattern Layout Caterpillar Tractor Company Layout to build and/or update pattern equipment for all 3200 & 3400 Series engine blocks and cylinder liner equipment.

4/69 - 2/81 Metal Patternmaker Caterpillar Tractor Company Worked 5 years in the plastic mold area; 5 years on an engine lathe; and the remainder time on a milling machine or work bench doing hand built tasks.
