Process Control System Replacement

● Upgrade of process control systems from obsolete technology in eight control centers. One of largest process control revamp projects ever executed by ExxonMobil. Includes relocation of a control data center to blast resistant building and numerous of building upgrades.

● Developed team integrating contract and client personnel to develop and execute using program methods

● 0 recordable injuries/incidents, lowest unit cost and fastest construction pace in the worldwide program. Closed at 90% of budget.

Project Manager 2009 - 2011

Reactor Train and Turnaround

● Second phase of isopropyl alcohol plant expansion with heavy brownfield project and turnaround. One-of-a-kind reactor and high-alloy specialty equipment.

● Fast-track schedule of 50% of typical EPC duration. Grass-roots productivity using front end loading and integrated project/construction planning. Closed at 79% of budget. Project Manager 2007-2009

Energy Management Project and Turnaround

● Replacement of gas turbine and upgrade of process compressor train, process equipment and machinery controls. New compressor train and electric driver delivered 30% energy efficiency and emission reduction.

● Overcame five-month delay from hurricane. Achieved full production rates in two hours after startup and closed at 91% of budget. Success of project drove evaluation of similar project opportunities in company.

Project Manager 2004-2007

Expansion and Turnaround

● First phase of 20% expansion of largest isopropyl alcohol plant in the world.

● Aggressively sourced long-lead components during time of alloy shortages and interruption from hurricane Katrina to achieve successful completion of the turnaround on schedule. Project Manager 2000-2003
