-Supervised the performance and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and plant services, ensuring safe operation within design capabilities and achieving proper engineering conditions prescribed by the Engineering Department.

-Supervised corrective and preventative maintenance on 16 General Electric LM2500 GTEs, 12 Rolls Royce Allison 501- K34 Gas Turbine Generators, 18 Control Consoles, and all associated support equipment.

-Established and maintained periodic operational testing schedules for critical systems and equipment.

-Provide the Operational Commander with fully manned, trained and maintained combat ready Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) to conduct high-speed ship-to-shore amphibious missions.

-Administer engineering training 25 crew members in basic through advanced troubleshooting methods in technical aspects of their jobs. Resulting in five promotions, four work center supervisors, and eight safety officers. Increasing level of knowledge and departmental mission readiness.

-Integral member of the maintenance team of a specialized naval unit providing operational, maintenance, administrative and logistical support for the Pacific Fleet of 28 Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) hovercraft used in support of global expeditionary warfare operations.

-Managed subordinate technicians through hundreds of hours of corrective maintenance tasks such as repairs to main engines, digital engine controls, A/C controllers, propeller control modules, window heaters, grounding straps, rudder actuators, blow-in doors, etc., saving the Navy hundreds of thousands of dollars in contractor costs annually.

-Replaced Main Engine Cables for three Landing Craft totaling 2,600 feet and a savings of $700K in contractor repair costs for the Navy.

-Instrumental in completion of 758 material checks and 37 Corrective maintenance actions during USS Decatur’s Light Off Assessment following a multi-year CNO maintenance availability.

-Conducted a vital role during Electrical Plant Control Console (EPCC) dynamic testing and the Main Space Fire Drill which resulted in an outstanding overall score of 98.1 percent.

-Troubleshot electrical discrepancies within the engineering plant, which included 60 MORPAC Valves, 274 engine sensors, 80 controllers, 14 electric motor pumps, 3 electrical distribution systems, 116 junction boxes, 28 battery systems.
