As a driller I made sure my crew was safe at any jobs that were performed. I would follow up with them to see if they have seen anything unsafe today. I also lined my crew out on a task then ask them what are the hazards and have them repeat it back to me of what the job is. Having good commutation with radios during any job. Also as a driller I would watch over the well being drilled of any signs of a kick. On drilling days I like to quiz my crew and ask questions what would you do if this were to happen on the rig.
