I am providing effective online instruction on the business program for Plymouth Marjon University (UK), Catholic University of Murcia Spain (UCAM), and City University Malaysia in Business Management subjects. I prepare and deliver lectures to students on topics such as Marketing and Marketing Channels, Business Organization and the Environment, Human Resource Management, as well as Strategic Project Management and Operations Management and Financial topics. My lessons strongly emphasize the philosophy of “I Do, We Do, You Do” and this fosters a strong engagement in class. I use support groups to assist my weaker students by pairing them with some of the middle learners. I use various learning methodologies that support a learning by doing philosophy within a student-focused learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions. I was responsible for the coordination of the finance and administration departments and its activities. My responsibilities included checking for accuracy and completeness of all accounting information related to the various business processes. I also ensured that confidential information remained secure. I processed and reconciled monthly vendor accounts and ensured accounts receivable GL Accounts are accurate and collected timeously. I processed the payrolls for all personnel on WPS. I created Cash flow forecasts for the month to aid budget preparation. I also monitored petty cash allocation and the usage thereof. I was also responsible for the control and monitoring of project total expenditure including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.

In my tenure at the firm, I have introduced cost-cutting interventions that have reduced costs associated with the onboarding of new sub-contractors, opened additional credit lines, developed adequate systems for material requisitions, and streamlined the payroll process. In addition, I have also improved bad debt recovery.
