PROCUREMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Select reliable sources of supply, prepare purchase orders, control price and quality and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.

Comply with purchasing policy and procedures within the limits of delegated authority and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Co-operate with engineering, project planning, cost control and other departments to ensure the specified equipment is provided on time, scheduled.

Establish and propose material and equipment sources, receive quotations and secure bids both locally and overseas. Undertake the negotiation of purchase contracts, follow-up, schedule and expedite deliveries.

Prepare and support any back charge claims to Vendors or Client as applicable.

Quality Assurance - Compliance with the provisions and guidelines of the Quality

Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc.

Safety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU. I Understand and follow OH&S procedures in procurements.

Responsibilities:

Study of drawings like GAD, P & ID, Isometrics and other associated drawings

Monitor the site activities coordinate with client vendor and contactors.

Site Management since Mobilization, Labor management and planning for the completion of the jobs as per schedule prepared

Material identification as per the specifications and preparation of cutting plans for the fabrication of the spools / parts.

To ensure the availability of sufficient resource to execute the job & HSC.

To plan and monitor construction activity to meet the target on date.

Coordinate with client and company management on HSC. Procurement of fittings, Instrument, equipment etc. required for carryout the Hydro test operation

Handle and operate the pressure testing equipments like High pressure pump, water filling pump, Air compressor, Dryer etc.

Execution of N2 (Nitrogen) purging for pipe line.

Preparation of material list and daily records for Hydro testing.

Preparation of procedure for cleaning & Gauging Hydro testing, Drying etc.

Principle Accountability:

Report daily activities, safety meeting, and any defects or deviations in production.

Perform scheduled testing, inspections, routine calibrations of equipments and repairs.

Ensure all activities and work carried out safely and properly in accordance with established policies and procedures. Promoting a positive attitude towards maintaining and improving HSE.

Effectively manage and control inventory of materials and spare parts, ensure that material purchase orders have been prepared in time and monitor that materials are supplied well in advance.

Find out trouble shooting /inspection to establish root causes of failure. Prepare corrective maintenance plans and detailed schedules, including materials and manpower resources.
