I am a seasoned Medical Laboratory Scientist with speciality in Medical Microbiology. I have since acquired various professional skills in different sphere of my profession with a wealth of experience of over 10years, consolidated with different trainings. WORK EXPERIENCE
Medical Laboratory Scientist Full Time, 40hrs/week 2007-Present Oyo State Primary Health Care Board
General Supervision and management of Laboratory Affairs and Personnels.
Examination of Sputum Smears for mycobacterium tuberculosis as trained Tuberculosis and Leprosy (TBL) Micropist in Oyo State.
Carrying out other Diagnosis and Routine Tests in Samples, such as Urine, Stool Blood etc.
Preparation of Stains and Reagents for Routine use.
Giving Professional Interpretations in Medical Tests
Proving useful information, upgrading laboratory standards.
Examination and diagnosis of blood film for malaria parasite and full blood count
Collection of Blood sample for CD4 and viral load for diagnosis
Vacutainous Collection of blood and tissue sample for monkeypox, lassa fever, examination and diagnosis as trained lassa fever focal person in Oyo state.
Giving useful lecture on relevant areas of medical laboratory for corpers and students on intership training.
Providing useful counsels to clients or patients on health status where necessary after diagnosis is done.
