Polk County Humane Society – Animal Care Specialist - May 2023 – March 2024 Animal Care Attendant for dogs and cats as well as all Kennel procedures with medicating animals.

Temp Intern Program: Veterinary Assistant - October 2022 – January 2023 Thompson Veterinary Hospital – Cross-trained for restraining, preparing vaccinations, in-house lab work. Record-keeping, Front-end desk work, grooming, kennel & care for animals.

Carl’s Game Station – Owner – August 2011 – September 2022 All required actions involved in a retail establishment including Inventory management, customer service, sales & shipping. Sold business to go back to school for CVT degree.

Polk County Humane Society – Animal Care Giver – January 2008 – October 2010. Animal care attendant, both canine and feline.

EDUCATION:

Currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology through Penn Foster. Starting final semester.
