At Champion Energy Services I am a customer service agent that works from home assisting customers with their electric REP account. My number one goal at this company has been to help people get affordable rates in contracts, understanding them when under pressure of being disconnected or having high bills and going above and beyond to keep the customer satisfied and in comfort. There is constant internal an external communication going on based on request between customers, landlords, assistance agencies, and TDUs.

Miami Dade County Public Housing - Miami, FL
June 2022 to January 2023
As a Public Housing Specialist, I have to help Tenants apply and fill out applications to be eligibile for past due/future rent awards. I engage with the Tenant for household information and then contact their Landlords, based on Property Appraiser website, for confirmation of participation with the ERAP
(Emergency Rental Assistance Program) for Miami-Dade County. I ask the Landlord if they would agree to participate because they are more trustworthy to receive federal funds for the Tenant’s payments failures. However, if a Tenant’s landlord does not wish to participate we still provide the Tenant with assistance for a maximum of 3 months by asking them to fill out a Self Attestation of Lease form. Every case worker is instructed to complete a minimum of 15 applications daily by repetitively practicing the description above.
