Professional Experience
Bestmix USA (IT services and consulting for the Software solutions for feed, food, and pet food industries) Sr. Project Manager, May 2021 – Jul 2022
I work at Bestmix USA Inc. as a senior project manager for all North American-based customers. I lead projects from start
(blueprint or requirements gathering) to finish (hand-over to Bestmix support helpdesk). We implement Bestmix ERP solutions, consisting of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and MILAS (Bestmix feed solutions). On average, my ERP implementation projects take 9-12 months. I work with a mix of US- and European-based consultants and am assisted by a team of East-European developers.
I also bring my experience to mature the young PMO office by streamlining our project approach, using templates and standards, and mentoring our junior consultants.
Freeman, Dallas – TX (Event sector)
Sr. Project Manager, May 2021 – Jul 2022
I joined Freeman as Sr. Project Manager in the EPMO department at Freeman Company for several Customer Experience (CX) related projects. Currently leading two projects for the Exhibitor Services team: Carl Rasquin

- The Show Site Modernization project combines renewed signage and apparel for Freeman employees with a technical track to serve the exhibitor better. The focus is to roll out a print kiosk solution for exhibitors and add (re)new(ed) functionalities to the app used at the show site.
- In the Logistics Services Scheduling Tool project, we finished a discovery track to find a scheduling tool that would support the ES and Operations teams. Unfortunately, the build track of this solution (MS Dynamics 365 Project Operations) has been delayed to September 2022, given the unavailability of business users. I also actively follow up on CE-related issues (Concierge Elite iOS app). Finally, I try to contribute my experience as a project manager to the EPMO team to build a more mature enterprise-wide PMO organization. Liberty Global (Telenet branch), Mechelen, Belgium – Denver CO, USA (Telco) ICT Project Manager, November 2019 – December 2020 Project Manager at Telenet for One ERP Cloud project - Transition of Telenet ERP (Oracle Fusion R9) and Telenet Group ERP

Together with our Indian partner, we have moved from the Design phase (5 months) to the Implementation phase, with a go-live date set at 1/1/2021 for Finance and SCM tracks to sunset the current SAP system.
I am responsible for the daily project follow-up reporting on budget, scope, planning, and risks and monitoring external partners’ bespoke solutions as part of overall project delivery.
Finance modules include G/L, AR, AP, and Fixed Assets; the SCM track comprises Procurement, Inventory management, Order management, and Logistics.
Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC), Brussels, Belgium (Government) ICT Project Manager/Scrum Master, October 2017 – October 2019 Oversee two projects, BeCert and the Document Management and Collaboration System. Provide support to the PMO. Serve as point of contact for Agile and Scrum (SAFE) practices across the agency. I also acted as release manager in my domains. Selected Contributions:
For the BeCert (Belgian Certificates) project, I worked on an in-house developed solution for going paperless by creating export certificates electronically through automatic PDF generation and providing all data in electronic format within UN/CEFACT standards. I am working on version 2.0 and adding more certificates to the solution. Also, the possibility of delivering digitally signed XML-based certificates for exchange with the People’s Republic of China is explored.
For the new Document Management and Collaboration System, led the development and delivery of a document management solution based on Microsoft SharePoint (SPaaS), as promoted by the joint Belgian government G-Cloud initiative of the Federal Public Services (FPSs), Public Institutions of Social Security (OISZ), and ICT organizations. Having gone live in Feb 2019, we are rolling out new features and requests (Project Collaboration Site, Employee Self- Service Portal, …) using Nintex as an add-on workflow solution.
Using my scrum master experience, I implemented several agile project management tools like Atlassian, Jira Confluence, and SonarQube with the PMO building the 2019-2022 Agile roadmap. Carl Rasquin
