Senior Graphic Designer

I collaborated closely with clients, creating layouts and formatting content for a variety of printed materials, which included direct mail, newsletters, personalized cards, self-mailers, and many more. I worked primarily with universities as well as hospitals, humane societies, and nonprofits. Additionally, I provided some CSS coding converting indesign layouts to webdesigns.

I work seasonally as a scare actor and attraction manager. Additionally, I am responsible for managing customer flow, assessing and solving problems, training, and critiquing scare actors, and taking on additional roles as needed. Photographer

I traveled to a variety of schools, camps, and organizations to photograph students and staff for IDs, senior photos, sporting events, and team photos. I provided much of my own equipment for these photo shoots.

Graphic Design and Photography Intern

LGBT Network

I completed a graphic design internship with a nonprofit organization focused on supporting the LGBTQ community on Long Island, I worked closely with their team to create promotional material and merchandise, and I also attended events as the photographer, and edited the images captured.

I photographed weddings for a large clientele base. I was responsible for all B-roll photography, as well as assessing locations for potential shoots. I culled and edited the photo collections following events.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES

President of Neighbors

During my college experience, I became very involved with an LGBT organization known as Neighbors, a student-led gay-straight alliance. During my tenure as president, I established a relationship with the university president as well as other administrators to facilitate growth and diversification on campus. Mosaic Member

I was asked to serve as the LGBT student representative on a team of stakeholders dedicated to creating a safe, diverse campus for all students. During monthly meetings, we discussed issues on campus and made strides to change the overall school culture. I was also involved in the planning and execution of several events on and off campus.
