I was the intern in charge of prospective students' applications and arrival to campus, as it helps to remove barriers that prevent students from historically marginalized communities from discovering what college has to offer. I developed, organized, hosted, and set up/cleaned a fundraiser to raise money to donate to save sea turtles and remove plastic from our oceans. I ended up contributing up to $1,000 to an organization. I rented a spot, built a map, set up chairs, decorations, and tables.
