CNC Blanchard Grinder Operator:
Job Description-
Set up, adjust, maintain, inspect and operate a surface grinder to achieve required finish to flat surfaces having several related dimensions. Selecting the Propper wheeling and tooling for each work order. Ability to read blueprints, cad designs, tape measure, company codes, customer request, special instructions, parallels/flats, etc. Inventory logs, work tickets, inspection forms, etc.

Inspections-

CNC Plasma/Oxy-fuel Flame Cut-
Ability to read cad designs, blue-prints, codes, tolerances, tape measurer, micrometer, material grades, special instructions, etc.
Plasma Flame cut, 80amp-400amp, (Hypertherm) head and electrode rebuilds, A variety of system programs. Including Burney, Lincoln, and Microsoft. Experience with multiple cutting procedures including a cross program of both plasma & oxyfuel combined.
Oxy-fuel Flame cut, Harris tips 1-6, acetylene, oxygen, kerfs, lead ins/lead out, angles, slots & ramps, etc.
Material prep-
Deburr, mig/tig, structural welds, and fabrication
Usage of power tools, hand grinder, die grinders with multiple attachments, straightening & flattening using a ram press.
Stress relief oven load/unload, operation, etc.
Distribution In/outhouse-
Relocation of products to assigned locations (labor in/out, finished product)
Location detail codes, including stress relief, edge anneal/full anneal, harden & temper, Blanchard grind, flattening, mill prep, quality department, etc.
Load/unload material (96”-240”) up to 25 tons.
Inventory inquiries-
Based upon quarterly inspection, identification of heat numbers, PO numbers length/width, etc.
Recording inventory holds, main & attachments, as well as N/V stock and scrap.
Organization/Relocation of plate material destination including standup racks. Shapes, grades, sizes, FIFO.
Preventive maintenance-
Minor repairs/adjustments, burners, welders, power tools, routine cleaning and inspection, etc.

Inspections-
Crane, Hilo, walking stacks, chains, hooks, webs, slings, synthetic straps, etc.
Ensuring all pressure/feed controls, blade speed, coolant levels, locks, gars, and clamps are to appropriate capacity. Gauging systems including square edge, tape measure, micrometers, etc. Are to be of consistent accuracy.
Saw Operator-
Ability to operate multiple bandsaws with numerous control adjustments to fit various grades and sizes of material. All while efficiently maintaining the levels of intensity in accordance with the core value for safety.
Knowledgeable to a variety of makes/model bandsaws including Armada 330-400, Spartan 250-330, vertical stand up, angle, including coded and basic degree process with advanced standard for operation.
Preventive maintenance-
Assuring saws are clean, and free of debris, blade changes, minor foot clam adjustment, hydraulic fluid, wheel brush, coolant pump/screens, hoses/cords, etc.
Distribution-
Quality inspection, deburr, wipe, label, quality inspection, etc.
Continuous infrequency of customer tolerance, ship to address, quantity, job, po/heat numbers, organized to follow multi-duplicate production orders requiring numerous pro# to match upon completion of the group.
Individually accounted for line items and distributed product pinpointing the cause of any returned goods.
Inventory inquiries-
Creating numbered/master labels
Identifying back orders according to no stock line items or no time for completion call off accounting extended time for additional in-house labor. Communication with operations manager and other shifts.
Customer service-
Minimal onsite customer service and communication of inside sales department to expedite individual pickups with excellent customer service, satisfaction representation reviews. Etc.
