WORK EXPERIENCE

Martin Auction, Clinton, Illinois United States

Temporary General Laborer 2014 – present (I still help with auctions and set ups)

Part time while I’m looking for a full time job.

Since 9/2014 I have been an on-call as needed laborer. I have painted rack wagons, and fence. I have helped with setting up auctions. I work the gate during live auctions to make sure customers have the right items. I help clean up after auction. I have helped customer load and unload items either purchased or consigned. I have maintained the grounds by mowing or weed eating. I also have helped at Nord Farm when needed. This is just a temporary thing I’ve been doing since 2014. I take photos of consignments so they images can be uploaded online, for the Online auctions I help pass out customer’s winning items, help customer’s load their items on their trailer/vehicles. I am part of the driving crew and go all around IL to pick up Ameren trucks and equipment that are being sold at auction. Once the Ameren fleet is consigned, I remove the Ameren logos and clean out the truck. I help line up the items out on the lot to make sure they look straight and organized.

Within the past year and a half, I have enhanced my skills to run all of RBS, RBO, Roof line. I Maintain and keep the line moving. I’ve learned how to work with robots. I have clearance codes to work on the pendent controller, complete cap changes, and I make sure I maintain a clean environment. I make sure other team members are ready to go for shift. Working with station 40 team members helps the line moving for production. I make sure there are enough roof panels for 3rd shift and if there is down time. My objective was to keep the line moving.

I would sand trucks to prep them for painting. I learned to use fiber glass to fix parts on trucks. I would wash trucks; I would wax and buff after the truck was painted. I would sometimes be sent up to the front shop to help prepare trucks be ready to leave and be transported. I would put decal stickers, replace head/taillights. Install new seats. But my main job was sanding.

Detailer for trucks & equipment that are sold online. I would install new headlights, fix any broken items. I would unload trucks that would come in that are new inventory.
