Delivery Medical Equipment Technician
AeroCare Durable Medical Equipment - Anderson, SC
February 2022 to December 2022
I delivered medical equipment to patients. Hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, Oxygen Concentrators, oxygen tanks also and numerous other items. I would deliver and set up either at rehabilitation centers, hospitals, nursing homes, patient's or relatives to the patient's homes. Wherever the patient needed the equipment I would deliver it. I also set up the equipment for the patient or care giver and thought them how to work the equipment the correct way. When I left from making the delivery I made sure there was no question that they knew with confidence exactly how to operate it. I would give them my number also just in case they ever came across a question they could contact me. I treated each patient like they were famliy and how I would want my family to be treated. There were several oxygen patients that I saw once a week. When you are dealing with what we deliver I know it's stressful enough on them so I tried to make it as lease stressful as possible. So yes we built a great close bond with one another. I still speak with some now just to check in.
