Born in Santa Clara, Cuba in 1970. Emigrated to U.S 1970 with parents and raised in Tampa, Florida where received my primary and secondary education in

public school. Graduating with my high school

diploma and GPA 4.0 from Jefferson High School –

Tampa, FL.

At 14 years old had a newspaper neighborhood route delivering the weekly newspaper. Various babysitting jobs in the summers. Upon obtaining my driver’s license at 16 became employed part-time at many retail jobs and phone sales, soliciting jobs.

Entering high school and participating in Future

Business Leaders of America FBLA learned many

clerical and business, accounting typing, shorthand skills and received an internship opportunity at IBM where I worked part-time receiving credit hours for high school through graduation in June 1988.

I enrolled in Erwin Vocational Technical School in Tampa, Florida where I studied court

reporting/stenography for 2.5 years receiving my

completion certificate in January of 1991 and began internship and worked for Coker Court Reporting in Bartow, Florida for the 11th Judicial Circuit sitting and recording judicial proceedings.

1993-1998 I worked as deputy official court reporter for the 6th Judicial Circuit and Robert A. Dempster, Official Court Reporter, where I reported trials, hearings, depositions and myriad of official legal proceedings. 1998-2008 I became a freelance court reporter

employed with Morgan J. Morey & Associates and

covered proceedings in the tri-county area including Sarasota, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.

2008 married and moved to Tampa, Fl where we

raised two beautiful children and chose to be a SAH mother for 3 years from 2010-2013. Became a nanny

to a wonderful family and their first child until my own began grade schooling.

2010-2013 NCE Transcription services working from

home part-time producing official transcription of audio recorded, highly confidential proceedings of matters from various law enforcement departments,

meeting deadlines to clients and some bilingual

translation requirements.

2014-Present self-employed as a freelance court

reporter handling my own clients, firms, schedules, invoicing, receivable, payables providing myriad of legal services and meeting deadlines in conjunction with production of verbatim recordings of legal

proceedings and providing an end product to clients which assists them in their legal cases.
