The business case was expanded to other crops far beyond rice, even completely different markets than originally expected, such as range and pasture. During this time, our team under my leadership managed a very large R&D budget with great success, doubling the size of the business case. The team also delivered on all important and necessary milestones for an on-time launch while remaining within budgetary requirements. With discipline, successfully developed and presented to the US EPA a compelling case for reduced risk designation for this new active ingredient.
