IT Help Desk Technician - Entry Level
My analytical background is extensive, having eight years in a physical chemistry lab that started after I graduated university with a Bachelors in Food Science. I found opportunities were growing in the data science field in 2018 and wanted to springboard into data science. I then moved from CA to Chicago in 2020 and only seriously started getting into the field in 2023. I intend to transfer specific skills such as project management and my independent work ethic highlighting a lab analysis sales by 5% (data from sales department) into a data analytics career. I am learning soft skills in an SQL course, and I hope to integrate personal projects on a portfolio where I may be able to clearly present them. I am actively applying to entry level IT roles while I obtain my certificates in specific data languages in bootcamps from TripleTen, General Assembly or Auburn University. I am looking to get my foot in the door in the IT field.
A technical specialist with background in analytical wine labs (8 years) and a B.S. Food Science. Holding functional skills in Excel, Outlook, and LIMS. Adept at maintaining GMPs, QC, ISO, and HAACP protocol. A proven track record helping teams resolve small issues to achieve results on time. A lifelong learner focused on improving soft skillets and communication in data science.
