Planned, directed, and managed the Latin America Human Resources operations with approximately 850 employees located in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Surname, Paraguay, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Puerto Rico. Direct reports included four (4) Human Resources Manager (Argentina & Chile, Colombia, Brazil and Mexico) one (1) Human Resources Specialist (Costa Rica) and one (1) Human Resources Assistant (Mexico)

HUMAN RESOURCES SHARED SERVICES - Appointed and challenged to lead the integration of the human resources functions and create the Shared Services for the Latin America operations.

TELEWORKING PROGRAM - Researched, analyzed, designed and established the Teleworking Program which significantly reduced operational costs and created a new working culture within the organization. Established policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices to transition employees to the new culture.

MERGER & ACQUISITIONS - Successfully led the merger and acquisition process for three (3) mergers and joint ventures throughout lifespan with Orange / Equant. Recognized for managing conflict and transitioning culture in less than the projected time frame. Harmonized all the employe benefits programs (post-merger) for Mexico, Central America and Caribbean Region within a three (3) month period.

INTEGRATION & REDUNDANCY PLAN - Received outstanding award for successful implementation and execution of integration and redundancy plan within the LAM Region. The plan included the evaluation and analysis of non-value added, redeployment, synergies and termination activities for more than 350 employees.

RECRUITMENT COST REDUCTION STRATEGY - Led the initiative of partnering with universities and technical institutions in the region while establishing the LAM Customer Call Center. This reduced recruitment cost up to 75% and accelerated the time to fill the vacancies. Model was replicated in other countries. Also, reduce Real Estate Cost by implementing teleworking in all the Region of Latin America. Savings of first year was $6million of dollars.

Planned, directed and managed the Central America & Caribbean operations with approximately 190 employees located in Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize, San Salvador, Aruba, Trinidad & Tobago, Guadalupe, Martinique, Barbados, Bahamas, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Supervised three (3) direct reports. Managed the startup operations in 1999 as Human Resources Manager.

•Served as Business Advisor to the Operations and Marketing Divisions in all human resources issues and local labor laws within the region of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
