Currently enrolled in The Pipeline Program which is a four-year mentorship and enrichment program for students interested in careers in healthcare. Each spring, students travel to Perelman School of Medicine and the Veterinary School of the University of Pennsylvania to take hands-on classes taught by medical and veterinary students.
I’m enrolled in the Cardiology (heart) program which gives me exposure to what doctors and other health professionals do. I have the opportunity to ask questions to different healthcare professionals. The program also affords me the chance to interact with medical students and undergraduate students who have chosen healthcare careers. The engaging curriculum involves various field trips and visits to health-related sites all while being mentored by Penn students.
