EXPERIENCE

Consumer Safety Inspector, USDA, Sep 1989 Jan 2021, Wilmington, NC I was on a patrol assignment. It covered over my career several states. I started in Sanford, NC, went to Henderson KY, then to Dillion SC, went to Charleston WV, and then to Palm Coast FL, then finish my career in Wilmington NC. My main mission was to enforce the regulatory requirements for meat and poultry. While being produced in a sanitary environment. It detailed in pre operational sanitation. Daily sanitation checks, inspecting of livestock or poultry during slaughter for diseases or performing sampling for the labs for specific food Bourne diseases. That required aseptic sampling and packing of product so that the sample was not compromised. I was the Inspector in charge of multiple further processing plants and Export and Imports. I had some complex Ready to eat products that had to meet strict guidelines. Lethality, and time was critical. I had to document my findings, kept a precise accurate file system. Had conducted plant meetings weekly. I was in charge of exports, and became the first trained Import Inspector for NC.

Graduated at LongBranch High School, I received a food technology technical completion from MSU through correspondence. I also was trained with the USDA, yearly JM

in HACCP and SOP and further processing. Also Micro Biology, animal anatomy, poultry science. Cross trained in further processing, red meat inspection. Trained in exporting of us meat and poultry and importing of foreign meats or poultry. Lab sampling for, E-coli 0157h, Listeria M, and Salmonella.
