After MBBS, completed 1 year rotatory internship in Deendayal Upadhay Hospital, New Delhi. Worked as an Emergency Medical Officer for 1 year in Medica North Bengal Clinic, Siliguri, West Bengal.
Obtained my MD Microbiology from RIMS, Imphal, Manipur. Completed Fellowship in Clinical Microbiology from Tata Medical Center, Kolkata. 4. Skills and experience:
3 years experience post MD in the field of Medical Microbiology.Trained for routine laboratory procedures in Bacteriology, Mycology, Serology, Parasitology and Molecular tests. Sample processing, diagnosis and antibiotic susceptibility testing. Quality control and infection control practices. Handling of automated instruments like BacT/Alert, Vitek II, RT PCR. Data analysis and preparation of annual antibiogram and hospital antibiotic policy, outbreak surveillance and investigations.
