Jimmy Reseme
I went to forestry school at Hope Vocational Technical
School in Hope Arkansas and when completing school I went
to work for Cabe Land Company in Gurdon and then International
Paper Company bought out Cabe Land Company in 1974 for whom
I went to work for. I worked for them as a Senior Forest
Technician for 34 years until 2008 and they sold to
Timberstar Southwest for whom I worked for from October
2008 to October 2009. They sold out to John Hancock for
whom I worked for from October 2009 until December 2010.
For all these employers I handled all silvilcutural
duties as burning,planting,site preparation,boundary
lines,chemical site prep.,road construction, ect.
John Hancock laid us all off and I went to work for
Murray Gibson from Alabama who bought and sold land and
timber and resold to highest bidder. My job for him was
to find the tracts for sale and evaluate the price for
land and timber to see if they were good tracts to buy.
I worked for him for 2 years.
I then went to work for Firestone Building Products
in Prescott, Arkansas as a shipping clerk. I worked for
them from March 2011 to February 2016. I ran a forklift
and loaded and unloaded trucks and ran the computers on
production bays. I retired to try to help get my son off
of drugs. I helped my son flip two houses.
I ran a car audio business for 24 years.
With International Paper Company I had chemical
license, and was certified in Silvilcultural applications,
and logging just to name a few. I also ran our safety
program.
