Materials Planning and Procurement:

Planning for the parts assigned to achieve the team goals as well as management milestones.

Ensuring team to complete purchase order creation based on MRP along with other supporting documents.

Ensuring the team focuses on schedules, providing 6 months forecast to suppliers monthly basis, focusing on RM planning and follow-up on OTD.

Collaborating with inventory control and sales to develop metrics gauging inventory for level needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year.

Scheduling the training and motivating the team in continuous improvement.

Managing the company’s day-to-day purchasing activities and ensuring that all purchasing team members are meeting their individual performance standards.

Cost Reduction and Inventory Management:

Coordinating with finance and assisting to develop more effective invoice posting and payment processes.

Coordinating with PE and internal teams to implement the ECN within the customer's scheduled time.

Communicating with the Warehouse about current stock and potential issues with orders.

Conducting daily analyses to forecast potential inventory optimization and maintaining the DOS.

Reporting on inventory activities and variances and assessing new inventory to ensure it is ready for shipping/despatch.

Developing and implementing inventory control procedures, best practices, and Internal Units Rebalancing.

Taking the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses.

On a quarterly basis identify the excess RM stock and revert to the supplier through purchase return with the debit note.

On a monthly basis ensure the material scrap percentage and make PR for shortage parts.

Communicating with suppliers on incoming rejections and getting the replacements / Credit note.

Coordinating with customer / IATF auditors and maintaining their standard requirements.
