Pennknoll Village - Executive Director Feb. 2000 to Sept. 2003

Responsible for day to day operations for 120 bed skilled nursing facility and 26 independent living cottages. Accomplishments: Improved financials from deficit of about $600,000 to surplus of $over $600,000 in the first year. Reopened 21 bed units which had been closed due to low staffing by creating a short term rehab unit. Increased occupancy from low 80% to 98%. Improved payor mix. Improved staff morale and retention to 87%. Improved corporate quality score from low 70's to high 80's.
